£100K Homes website goes live
The £100K Homes website is now live, offering information about the scheme and allowing people to register their interest in buying one of the affordable properties in the future.
Developed and managed by the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Combined Authority, the site provides key information about £100K Homes, including a two-minute video animation and a list of frequently asked questions.
Those who want to register interest in buying a £100K Home when they become available can fill in a short registration form on the site. They will then be contacted when £100K Homes in their area become available and guided through the next steps.
It is expected initially that demand for £100K Homes will significantly exceed supply.
Those who are not interested in buying a £100K Home but who think the affordable home ownership scheme is a good idea can sign a separate register of support.
Public demand and backing for the scheme across Cambridgeshire and Peterborough will help Mayor James Palmer and the Combined Authority bring forward £100K Homes faster and at greater scale.
The website will develop further as the £100K Homes scheme rolls out. There will be an interactive map of Cambridgeshire and Peterborough highlighting the pipeline of £100K Homes, including those being built and those completed. The map will also show levels of demand across the area.
The site will keep visitors up to date on progress of the scheme generally through news posts, blogs and other updates.
Those interested can also follow £100K Homes on social media via the links on the website homepage.
